Back At It- Vacume pump installed

Time to get back into this.
I have spent the last few years at uni studying mechatronics. and it is well past time to get this car moving.
Before I get it moving I need to get the breaks working. The petrol car using the vacuum from the engine to actuate the brakes. Well that is gone, So I've added a vacuum pump and tank with a simple controller to drive the pump based on the pressure in the tank.

ive been designing a battery charger, and bms system.
in going over and looking at programming it and couldn't find any cores for arduino 1.5.x for the atmega8,
just ported some from 1.0.
arduino 1.5 atmeg8 attiny cores

looking for codes between the Grundig and its cd changer to implement in the car computer
